I have always had a great passion for painting , since I was a child I have always drawn and my works were much appreciated by both teachers and friends. I have always admired and appreciated the Macchiaioli painters and the Impressionists.
After scientific studies and university I abandoned this interest to dedicate myself to work and family. When I reached retirement, my husband and I decided to leave our city in Emilia, although very beautiful.
We moved to the Tuscan countryside , where we had spent our holidays many times. Tuscany was a fascinating land for us, for its history , its culture and its landscape .
The remains of the ancient Etruscan civilization , the spas , the ancient villages centuries old, the gentle hills full of olive trees, the pine forests by the sea , the often intact, sometimes wild nature , the free animals , have reawakened in me the old and never dormant love for painting.
Now we live in Maremma, near Campiglia Marittima , an ancient village dating back to the year 1000. And here, in my opinion, in the most beautiful place in the world, on a hill a few kilometers from the sea, I love to paint. I paint my dearest friends who come to visit us, my beloved grandchildren, the horses, my beloved cats and my beautiful roses.
